R' Dovid Charlop

Board Member

Rabbi Charlop received Smicha from Rabbi Shrya Dublitsky from Bnei Brak. He also holds a B.Sci from Empire State College, NY. RC has been teaching young men for approximately 40 years. He is primarily involved in teaching post High School young men from challenging backgrounds. Rabbi Charlop has been counseling couples for over 10 years. Unfortunately, one of the issues he has dealt with is infertility and the enormous emotional stress and anguish it can cause. This was a primary factor in his joining the Keren Ohr team, to provide emotional support to the many couples struggling with infertility

Ari Posnack

Board Member

Ari Posnack made Aliya with his family from New Jersey to Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2014. Over the past 21 years, Ari has been a solo online entrepreneur, having purchased, developed, run and sold 5 successful online businesses. During this time, Ari has shared his business experience and expertise with over 100 people, coaching and helping them along in their own business ventures. Ari has a degree in Psychology from Cornell University, and dedicates much of his free time to helping, coaching and mentoring others.

Yoni Palmer

Co-Founder & Board Member

Yehonatan (Yoni) Palmer grew up in Golders Green, London, moving to Ramat Bet Shemesh (RBS), Israel in 1998. Today he lives with his wife Reena and daughter Aliza on a moshav just outside RBS. He grew up in a home steeped in communal involvement, with his father z”l serving as a gabbai and communal leader, while his mother z”l also played significant roles in women’s groups in the local kehila. Yoni works in hi-tech as a technical writer, but outside work time is also involved in communal activities, himself serving as a gabbai both on the moshav where he lives, and during the time he lived in RBS. He is also a volunteer firefighter and took part in the Jerusalem area fire in August 2021. Yoni and Reena waited 10 years before Aliza was born and they went through the infertility journey, including miscarriages and treatments. In 2019 in partnership with Chana and Shmuli Falk they founded Keren Ohr, an organization developed by people who had been there to help couples emotionally survive and thrive through the infertility journey.

Rami Goldberg

Board Member

Originally from New Jersey, he holds ordination from Yeshiva University and a Masters from the Azrieli School of Jewish Education. After a brief teaching career, he made Aliyah to Israel, establishing successful businesses employing over 70 people. Rabbi Rami passionately lectures on business ethics to university students, focusing on ethical practices and wealth management. He also serves on nonprofit boards to impact the Jewish community. Living in Ramat Beit Shemesh with his family, Rami’s journey, while fruitful, hasn’t been without challenges, including some unsuccessful ventures. He is also an avid hockey player, having been chosen for the Maccabee games in 2022.

Josh Ross

Board Member

Josh Ross made Aliyah with his family in 2021 prior to making Aliyah Josh successfully ran a solar energy company and was involved with a number of nonprofit organizations. Currently Josh is involved in real estate and a few business ventures.
